Jennifer Lopez is a Working Mom

Famous multi-tasker, Jennifer Lopez, 39, already had her hands full with her career, (singer, dancer, actress, etc,) but now with mom-of-two on her resume, Jennifer is dishing to PEOPLE about what life is really like for her and husband, Marc Anthony.

“I did it for a long time but we started using a nanny a few weeks ago, [Most days] I get up early with them. Then when the nanny comes, I can take a shower and give them their breakfast. She’s there to help me get things done.”

On her favorite moments with Max and Emme, morning and bedtime, Lopez says,

“When they see you and have that big smile on their face – I live for that. And when I put them to bed at night and they melt in your arms. I give them a bottle and wind it down. I say, ‘It’s time for beddy-bye.’ I hold them and sing a little song. By the time you know it, they are asleep.”

On finding a balance between work and motherhood,

“It’s gonna be a learning experience. How will I do both? I try to take breaks from work. I’ll do a little work with the choreographers and then come back. I try to spend every free moment with the babies.

Lopez, who recently completed the Nautica Malibu Triathlon, also spoke of the experience, and her post-baby body,

“The triathlon really helped get me in better shape, and snapped me back into my body. I don’t weigh myself a lot. I still have 10 lbs., or so. [But] I don’t have any problems with it. I never felt I had to get rid of it.”

When asked about how she stays comfortable with her body image, Lopez says,

“We like to eat! I think you have to love yourself and indulge when you want to, as well as be happy and just have a healthy attitude towards it. Marc loves the way I look!”

Max and Emme will be 7 months on September, 22.

  1. Right On!

Good for her…I never really liked how she presented herself i the past…diva antics, living her personal life in the public eye, identity issues with the whole j-lo, jenny from the block, urban drama…While still attempting to be a”classy fashionista.”

I always felt like she should pick a theme and hone it! lol

I must give her credit though, she has truly matured and found a sense of balance with Marc…good for her.

Somehow I dont believe her. Her explanation sounds so staged and prepared makes it so unreal.
