It is with heavy hearts we report that the four year-old daughter of Mike Tyson has died. After a tragic accident in her home, involving the cord from an exercise machine, Exodus passed away at 11:45am, in Phoenix, Arizona.
In statement released by Tyson, who was in Las Vegas at the time, says "We are grateful for the tremendous outpouring of love and prayers from all over the world. There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus. We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal."
Though the mothers name has not been revealed, it was reported that the 7 year-old brother of Exodus found his sister after the accident.
Our thoughts are with the Tyson family during this difficult time.

so so so tragic! i am so deeply saddened to hear this and i am keeping the tyson family in my prayers.

This is the second accidental death of a celebrity child in a very short time (after Jett Travolta). You hear about these kinds of things, but I'm always shocked when it happens to a child we 'know'.
Jett Travolta wasn't an accidental death. He died of a seizure.
I feel horrible for him and his family. How traumatizing for the seven year old brother! But I have to wonder, why was the the four year old able to get near the treadmill in the first place?

So so tragic and sad. I can't imagine what her big brother and the parents are going through. My thoughts and prayers are with them...
Apparently she is featured in Mike Tyson's new documentary coming out this summer. It will be nice to see her...based on neighbors' accounts, she was quite a character and very sweet.
