Ellen Pompeo’s Sunday Shopping

Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo was spotted doing a bit of shopping today at the LA Farmer’s Market. The mom-to-be kept cool in a loose navy dress as she browsed the yummy selection of fresh produce.

With Ellen’s October due date fast approaching, Grey’s creator Shonda Rimes says they’re still trying to figure out what the new mom’s busy schedule will mean for her character Meredith Grey.

“It’s going to be tricky,” Shonda said earlier this week. “Ellen is incredibly optimistic and somehow thinks she’ll be back and ready to rock ‘n’ roll. I have a child, so I know that that’s not true.”

The baby will be the first for Ellen and her husband Chris Ivery.

Wow – her legs looks terrible. Look at those nasty varicose veins – yuck!

Have I missed something? When was Ellen ever talking about her sex life?
And honestly I don’t see varicose veins, she is thin, she is standing and has pale skin, you simply see her veins shining though her skin. That mark on her leg is probably just a bruise.
And even if she has varicose veins, you should delay any medical non necessary treatment until after a pregnancy.

And I think someone needs to make a coffee table photo books titled ‘Celebrity Starbucks Times’ and have the slew of pictures of them shlepping around town with the perpetual -hand- affixed- to- Starbucks pose.

Chris Ivery is an ex-con – he was always a real loser!

They both grew up in Massachusetts and my brother went to school with him. He has nothing nice to say about him either! Very sneaky guy!

Seriously CBS, since you changed the style of your site and allowed comments to be posted anonymously the comment section is going downhill.

I completely agree with you! I’ve really noticed that the comments have become really negative and inappropriate. I guess people feel that they can post anonymously and therefore say what ever they like.

Seems like a good time to remind everyone that we do moderate comments here at CBS and any that cross the line into an attack against celebrity parents, their kids or other readers will be deleted. We love your comments, but please try to keep them civil.

And sorry if a few not-so-nice ones slip through the cracks! 🙂

No, the comments are more fun and from the hip.. not the creepy, supercilious fawning comments you probably prefer. Seriously… lighten up. It’s like you take personal offense and nothing here is really that bad. Calling someones kid ugly, etc is bad and immature but no one is doing that here. Deal or just scroll past and ignore comments you don’t like.

um celebrities arent the only ones who drink starbucks, thats kinda how they stay in business… but no one follows the massive amount of people that go there daily with a camera clicking away.
