Jennifer Hudson Welcomes Baby Boy David Daniel Jr.

Congratulations to Jennifer Hudson and fiancé David Otunga who have welcomed a son! David Daniel Otunga Jr. was born Monday, August 10th weighing in at 7lbs. 14oz., Jennifer’s rep tells PEOPLE.

“The baby is beautiful and perfect,” says the proud new mother’s rep, Lisa Kasteler. “His parents are ecstatic.”

Jennifer, 27, who chose to stay quiet about her pregnancy and let her bump do the talking, performed at Michael Jackson’s memorial last month, singing “Will You Be There”.

This is the first child for Jennifer and David, who became engaged on Jennifer’s last birthday.
