Kate Winslet & Family In The Big Apple

Kate Winslet was spotted running errands in New York on Friday (Sept. 25) with her husband, director Sam Mendes, and her beautiful daughter Mia Honey, who turns 9 next month. Earlier in the day, the 33-year-old Academy Award-winning actress was seen with her 5-year-old son Joe walking through the Meatpacking District.
The Revolutionary Road star recently talked about being a hands-on mom:
I mean, it's very tempting to have a nanny and live in a gated community and have a chef - I'd love to have a few dinners cooked for me. But I don't want that for my children. When they're older, if people say to them, 'Did you have a chef?' I want them to be shocked by the question."

Both of her children are the spitting image of their fathers! Kate seems like a very down-to-earth and loving mother :)
Just one more reason for me to love Kate! I have admired her for so long... she seems like the type of person you could just have a pint with at the local pub. LOVE HER and so glad she finally got her Oscar.
Yeah, beautiful child for sure... however, that is a picture of her SON with her, not her daughter. And yes her son looks like his father, who is Sam Mendes, not Jim Threapleton.
