Alessandra Ambrosio Gets Runway Ready

Alessandra Ambrosio Gets Runway Ready

Model mom Alessandra Ambrosio has been busy getting into tip top shape for the upcoming annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

"Last year, because I had a baby and I had to lose pounds, I did a lot of cardio,” the 28-year-old VS Angel tells People. "This year is all about weights, squats and lunges."

Alessandra, who welcomed her adorable daughter Anja Louise in August 2008, definitely looked to be back to her pre-baby form at last week's MTV 2009 Latin Awards in California. The Brazilian beauty wowed on the red carpet in a daring Balmain mini.

Alessandra turned to a strict "no sugar, no bread" diet to lose the weight after Anja's birth, but she says that now she eats whatever she wants. So to get catwalk ready this year, she's been hitting the gym.

"I’m working out to prepare for the show because it’s our biggest show of the year. Im trying to work out four days a week."

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is set to air on CBS on December 1.

I agree. Way too skinny. She's a beautiful woman, but she did look better with a few more pounds.

I agree! The first thing I noticed in that picture were her super skinny legs. Scary!

Maybe it's just how distracting that dress is, but she looks much healthier than a lot of models. Most runway models are so skinny that all you see are bones, but with Alessandra, she's beautiful. Look at her stomach, she actually has a waist, it's not all just a straight line because of being too skinny. If I'm not mistaken, she might actually have tiny hips too, lol.
