Jane Carrey Is Seeing Blue!

Jane Carrey, daughter of Canadian funnyman Jim Carrey, has revealed to >ET Canada that she and fiancé Alex Santana are expecting a baby boy!

Jane, who announced the pregnancy in July, also revealed that she and Alex have decided on the name Jackson Riley.

“I’m really excited about it because I never really got along with girls growing up,” explains mom-to-be Jane. “I was a little afraid that if it was a girl that she would not like me, you know? So, I’m very happy about the boy.”

The couple, who are set to wed in a “not too fancy, very laid back and cool” wedding later this month, didn’t plan this overlapping of events, but Jane says that it was a happy coincidence: “[Alex] asked me to marry him and then I found out that we were going to have a baby. The baby wasn’t planned exactly, but our future was. It was going to be in there somewhere, we just didn’t know when.”

Though many of the last minute wedding details are still up in the air, she insists that her father will definitely be walking her down the aisle: “Of course he is, he better!”

The 21-year-old Jane Carrey Band singer says that lately her pregnancy cravings, which used to include red meat and onions, have been much less specific: “It’s just more like, ‘Food now, thank you very much.” Though she adds that donuts are near the top of her list, saying, “I’ll smell donuts when donuts are nowhere near and I’ll be like, ‘Who’s got donuts?’ There’s no donuts in the building.”

To keep on top of her indiscriminate appetite, Jane says she’s been doing her best to stay active: “I do pilates and then I go to the gym three times a week when I can for the most part so that my butt doesn’t fall down on the floor.”

Jane also tells ET Canada about how excited her parents are about becoming grandparents: “Both my parents are so excited, they keep calling me and they’re like, ‘I can’t wait to have a little rugrat running around the house.’”

The soon-to-be mama goes on to say how thrilled she is about adding to her family:

I’ve always wanted to be a mother… and I’ve always wanted to do music, so to have the two together, it’s just awesome, it’s a dream come true.

Jane and Alex are anticipating baby Jackson’s arrival early this March.
