Jesse James: Leave Sandra Bullock Out Of Custody Battle

After her appearance on Good Morning America earlier this week, Jesse James sent a message to his ex: Leave my wife Sandra Bullock out of the custody dispute.

Jesse's second wife and mom of their 5 1/2-year-old daughter Sunny, porn star Janine Lindemulder, stated on GMA that Bullock was trying to "take away my daughter" and suggested that the Miss Congeniality star should sit down and talk it out.

In a statement to People, James' attorney Marilyn Slifman calls Lindemulder's remarks "inaccurate and unfortunate," adding that "Sandra Bullock is not a party to this litigation. Mr. James's sole concern is for the safety, welfare and best interests of his daughter. The proper forum to resolve this case is in the courtroom."

Bullock and James have been raising Sunny since January, when Lindemulder, who has appeared in more than 100 adult movies, was imprisoned for tax evasion. The couple wrote letters to the court with concerns about Sunny's safety and well being due to Lindemulder's alleged drug problem.
