Amanda Peet's Daughter Saved Her From Doomsday Depression

In the new doomsday flick 2012 Amanda Peet plays a mom trying to save her kids from the end of the world. In reality, the 37-year-old actress says she has more immediate concerns - like "global warming and wars," and making sure her daughter Frances Pen, 2 1/2, stays on the right path.
"I have a daughter, and it helped to come to her after a day of filming one disaster after another because she was just wanting me to read The Cat and the Hat or whatever," Amanda tells Parade magazine. "That definitely kept me from getting too depressed. I'm trying not to think about what the world will be like when she grows up. I think more about when is she going to start drinking and wearing a g-string and how can I stop those things from happening."
Speaking of g-strings, Amanda also opened up about baring all on screen - and why she refuses to be a slave to the gym.
"I have an inner conflict. I'll be at the gym and I'll start thinking, 'What am I doing? I'm going to sag no matter what I do.' I've certainly taken my clothes off on camera, but you have body make-up and special lighting," she says. "I mean, someone with a figure like Jennifer Aniston has a trainer, a cook spinning out some version of the latest diet, and probably a stop at the tanning salon. Then teenage girls go, 'God, I wish I could look like that.' Maybe they wouldn't if they knew what it took.'"

I really like her point of view on personal imagine. I feel so bad for girls who look at all the cover girls and think why I dont I look like that? If they knew how fake the picture was to begin with and how much work it takes to look that good they might think twice. Everyone has a personal best u should strive with but don’t be unrealistic.
Beautiful woman!
so, is she jealous of jen A? just sayin
I doubt she's jealous of Jen Aniston. She's just be honest and realistic.
