Jennifer Lopez Covers Allure
| Dec 15, 2009 by CAROLYN ROBERTSON |

Motherhood may have had a profound impact on Jennifer Lopez's life, but don't expect her to start singing about it.
The multi-talented star, who has 22-month-old twins Max and Emme with her husband Marc Anthony, tells the January 2010 issue of Allure that despite expectations, her new songs aren't all about “how great your life is and how it changed and how beautiful."
That's not to say that she hasn't been changed by the experience of being a mom, however.
“To a certain extent, having children did change me," the 40-year-old actress muses. "But it made me want to look at the places that I wasn’t great and learn to love myself and take care of myself more.”
Though you'd never know it by looking at her - she shows off her trim figure in a tight black dress in the magazine's photo spread - J.Lo says that one thing that's different about her now is that she's not as obsessed with working out as she once was.
“I’m not the monster I used to be in the exercise department," she admits. "You get past your 20s, you’ve got kids…you’re kind of unmotivated. You want to be healthy and look good, but you want to do the least amount to maintain that.”
Max and Emme will be celebrating their second birthdays on February 22.
