Update: Van Morrison's Baby News Was Hacker Hoax
| Dec 31, 2009 by DESIREE FAWN |

Update: It looks as though the message posted on Van Morrison’s website two days ago (December 29) announcing the arrival of his baby boy was a hoax.
According to the 64-year-old singer, his website was hacked and the claims made were “completely and utterly” unfounded and hopes to clear up the rumors in the following statement:
Claims were made relating to my person life in a ‘statement’ purporting to come from me. The comments which appeared on my website did not come from me. They are… without foundation. For the avoidance of all doubt, and in the interest of clarity, I am very happily married to Michelle Morrison, with whom I have two wonderful children.
The singer also added that this is the second time in three months that his website has been hacked and that he’s “asked [his] management team to carry out an immediate investigation”.
