Melanie Brown Is Hoping For Twins

Melanie Brown has big plans for 2010: Along with being named the new host of Dance Your Ass Off, the former Spice Girls admits she has babies on the brain.

Mel, 34, and her husband Stephen Belafonte recently moved into a new 6-bedroom home in LA with their kids - she has daughters Phoenix, 10, and Angel, 3, and they also share custody of Stephen's daughter Giselle, 5. She reveals that they hope to fill the extra rooms with more children.

"One reason we wanted to move house was because we want to extend the family. Plus, we wanted Phoenix to have more of a stable home life. Her school’s close by," she tells Hello!. "But we definitely want to have kids at some point in 2010 or the beginning of 2011, because this year’s going to be pretty busy."

The very busy mom goes on to say that she's really hoping for twins!

"Stephen has twins in his family and I would love to have twins. I think there’s something nice about having two babies, and they’re there for each other their whole entire life. That would be ideal for me. But just one healthy baby would be more than fine. That’s all you can wish for."

As for her new role on the reality weight loss show, Mel says she's looking forward to it, adding, "After the birth of my second daughter, I wanted to find a fun and effective way to drop the pounds and get back in shape...I learned dancing was the key."
