Bruce Jenner: Kourtney Is "Taking Motherhood So Seriously"

Kourtney Kardashian’s family didn’t expect motherhood to come easily to the 30-year-old reality star, but since the arrival of baby Mason less than two months ago, they have changed their tune.

“She’s taking motherhood so seriously,” stepdad Bruce Jenner tells Us. “To be honest, even I’m a little amazed.

“She's breastfeeding so she has to be pretty much with Mason all the time anyway,” he adds. “But she really is taking it seriously and she’s doing an amazing job.”

Bruce says that what he is most impressed about is how his stepdaughter has matured since becoming a mother:

You know, Kourtney has always been kind of a free agent – she does what she wants to do. She’s gone from being a young person with very few responsibilities to an adult, with some major responsibilities, and she’s really growing up.

According to Bruce, Kourtney’s partner, Scott Disick, is “really coming through” as a new father: “He’s still a work in progress, don’t get me wrong, but he’s coming along. You never know how someone is going to handle such a big responsibility,” he explains. “But they are doing a great job, both of them are.”

“Mason’s just getting more and more aware and growing just beautifully,” he adds.
