Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are getting married!
The 28-year-old mom-of-two confirmed the happy news during a taping of the Late Show with David Letterman on Monday (February 15) and showed off her ring outside the studio.
After the taping, Nicole enjoyed dinner at Abe & Arthurs in New York City. “She was glowing,” a source tells PEOPLE. “She was telling her table how happy she way.”
The couple, who began dating in December 2006, have two adorable children together – Harlow Winter Kate, 2, and Sparrow James Midnight, 5-months.

Congratulations to Nicole and Joel for your engagement! It was about time. After all they already have two adorable children and maybe they are planning to have more in the future. They are meant for each other. Joel has ahd a very calming influenceon Nicole. She has matured a lot since starting to date Joel and becoming a mum. Her former BFF Paris Hilton should follow Nicole´s example and start a family. In that way she sure would calm down a lot and stop partying. Since giving birth to Harlow Nicole has stopped partying and found her happiness as being a loving partner to Joel and a loving mum to their children.
