Sheryl Crow Teaches Her Son To Be Eco-Friendly
| Mar 31, 2010 by CAROLYN ROBERTSON |

Musical mom Sheryl Crow was busy last week promoting World Water Day, performing at a special concert in New York City and speaking to CBS News about the importance of water conservation and eco-friendly living.
Explaining that she learned about environmental stewardship at a very young age, the All I Wanna Do singer reveals that it's a lesson that seems even more important now that she's a mom.
“I was raised with this idea that you leave the campground better than how you found it. We were brought up to shut off the water when we were brushing our teeth, only ran the dishwasher when it was stuffed, never took 45-minute showers," says Sheryl, who is mom to 2-year-old son Wyatt. "I have a little boy now, so my concern is what kind of planet are we leaving."
The proud mama adds that little Wyatt is already doing his part to help the planet: "My little boy is worried about flushing the toilet - we're already starting, at 2-and-a-half. He already knows not to flush the toilet unless, you know, you have to."
