Nas Ordered To Pay Kelis Child/Spousal Support

Rapper Nas, who split from ex-wife Kelis while the Milkshake singer was seven-months pregnant, has been ordered by a judge to pay a hefty $299,015.50 in back child and spousal support, reports TMZ.

Nas, whose real name is Nasir Jones, and Kelis Rogers have been in a bitter dispute since the split, with the last reports stating that the rapper would pay approximately $50,000 per month in child and spousal support.

The rapper has yet to pay his ex-wife, fueling a judge to order him to pay almost $90,000 in back-dated support, as well as $10,000 per month in spousal support until he completely pays off the amount he owes Kelis. The judge also tacked on over $200,000 to cover Kelis' legal and accounting fees.

The couple, who were married in 2005, have one child together, son Knight, while Nas also has a teenage daughter from his first marriage, Destiny, 16.
