Report: Dannii Minogue Will Return To The X Factor

Dannii Minogue is making a return to television as a judge on the UK show The X Factor. The 38-year-old singer/actress has just signed a $1,000,000+ contact to return to the show after taking her maternity leave. Minogue is reportedly thrilled, telling friends, 'I'm so excited'.

Rumors had surfaced in March that there were no plans for Minogue to return after the birth of her child, leaving people to wonder if she was fired simply for being pregnant. A source close to the situation clarified the events, saying,

After the last series finished there was a lot of confusion as to whether Dannii would stay or not. However it became clear just how popular she was. The talks went really well and Dannii is set to start after the birth of her baby and when the live shows begin in September. Dannii is delighted. She has a baby on the way, a loving boyfriend and now a new TV deal.

Minogue and boyfriend Kris Smith, who have been together since 2008 are planning to welcome their first child in July. The live rounds of The X-Factor begin in September, giving Minogue a two month maternity leave. The gorgeous mom-to-be recently received the title of Most Beautiful Person by an Australian magazine. Of accepting her pregnant body, she said, "I thought it was absolutely going to freak me out, the whole body change and hormonal change. But I am loving it."
