Meet Liberty Grace Lawrence!
Dancing with the Stars contestant Joey Lawrence shows off his adorable newborn daughter, Liberty Grace, in the latest edition of Life & Style. Joey also opens up about his wife Chandie’s complications during her pregnancy and the joys of being a father again.
On finding out Chandie had RH disease 6 weeks into the pregnancy: “We had to go to the specialist every 24 hours during the last two or three weeks of the pregnancy. We were so worried. We wanted to get Libby out so bad.”
On Liberty's first five days in the neonatal intensive care unit: “They handed her to me even before they cleaned her off,” Joey says about Libby, who weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces at birth. “I held her for a second, and then they took her from me and locked her in a tube.”
On trying for a boy: “Our family of four is perfect. We’d love to try for a boy, but unfortunately we’d have to deal with the Rh stuff every time. So if it’s not in the cards, then that’s okay. We’re blessed with two healthy girls.”

Liberty Grace is a pretty newborn.
I'm not sure why this is such an issue for them. Lots of women have that same problem and it's treated during the pregnancy.
It may not seem like a huge deal if you just look at the numbers (ie how common is) but as a pregnant woman facing the same issue myself, I can tell you that personally, it feels like the biggest issue you can have, despite how common it may be. Of course they were worried about their baby's health and in those kind of situations I think most people look at the worst possible outcomes instead of the best-- I know that I've been reading up about all the horrible side-effects my baby COULD have, instead of focusing on the fact that it's a rather common issue for pregnant women with a usually fine outcome. It's just human nature-- and it follows that they would bring it up during interviews that focused on the pregnancy.... thinking/worrying about it probably consumed a good deal of their time until their baby was born. I know that it does for me! The fact that it's a common situation in general doesn't decrease the emotional turmoil that they probably went through personally. Just my opinion though!
She is beautiful!
Adorable :)
Cute!
I hope there is a family photo in the magazine. Unless the mom has requested some anonymity I can't think of why she wouldn't be included in the photo with her newborn. I know she's been photographed at swag parties and whatnot, so I assume she doesn't want to be hidden off camera.
we named our daughter liberty-grace and thought it was unusual and would never hear of it again sorry dont watch much tv so never knew there was another till today she is 4 months now and a sexy little thing to your daughter is so sweet congratulations
