Naomi Watts Can Relate To Her Boys

She recently confessed to wanting a baby girl, but mom-of-two Naomi Watts says raising sons comes naturally to her.

“I grew up a tomboy,” the Mother and Child star tells OK! “I had a big brother, so I never had dolls or girly things. Despite the fact that they’re the opposite sex, I feel that I can relate.”

One thing she misses about not having a little girl in the home? “Pretty dresses,” she admits with a laugh, but adds, “I can do that with my niece.”

Naomi gave a glimpse into her happy home life with Liev Schreiber and their two sons Sasha, 2 1/2, and Kai, 1.

“Yesterday it was raining, so there wasn’t a lot to do – Play-doh. We went out to breakfast, which is always difficult, doing restaurants, because they’re both at an age [where they’re throwing forks]. We never really get to eat.

Adds Liev, “It’s been a lot of the zoo recently. It’s been a lot of swimming and zoo.”

The 41-year-old actress credits her kids with helping her to live in the moment, saying, “You can’t think about anything but what’s going on at that time, no matter how much you try.”
