Gwyneth Paltrow: Apple Wants A Petting Zoo For Her Birthday

Lifestyle guru and actress Gwyneth Paltrow (who recently admitted she would love another child!) was on The Late Show With David Letterman last week, where she dished all about daughter Apple's birthday wishes.

Gwyneth told Dave, that Apple, who turns six on May 11, wanted a petting zoo: "She requested a petting zoo…I thought we’d get a couple bunnies and a cat...It’s literally like, one pony to ride - I don’t know where we’re riding this pony, by the way. A pony to pet, some goats, a bearded dragon, a tarantula, two meat rats and a de-scented skunk.”

That sounds like the ultimate kid's birthday party!

Is this for a birthday party or a gift to keep? And what are meat rats? Ew.

Petting zoos are not the most sanitary places. Some kids have gotten very sick from e-coli contamination.

COOL! My daughter that is turning 6 later this month too, wants a critter party. A cool teacher that has all kind of exotic animals comes and teaches a class about all the different animals and then lets the children "touch"and feel the animals! FUN!

May 11th is incorrect. Apple's birthday is May 14th. People magazine reported when she was born in 2004.
