Brooke Mueller: "I Hope To Be The Best Mother I Could Be"

After a tumultuous few months Brooke Mueller reports that she has her "priorities straight" and that she and her 1-year-old twins Max and Bob are doing well.

"Mentally, I feel really clear and spiritually, I feel really connected," she told Extra at this past weekend's Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles. "I'm doing good."

The event was Brooke's first public appearance since the Christmas Day altercation that saw her husband Charlie Sheen arrested for assault. Shortly after Brooke and Charlie both entered separate rehab facilities.

Saying she's been "hiking, listening to music, reading, going to bed early" in effort to live a healthy lifestyle, Brooke adds that her focus now is on her kids.

"They're fabulous. They're just so perfect, I love them so much," she gushed. "I hope to be the best mother I could be. Everything else is secondary."

Meanwhile, Radar Online reports that Charlie will be returning to court on July 12 to face charges of felony menacing and two misdemeanors.
