Warren Beatty & His Gorgeous Girls

Legendary actor Warren Beatty, 73, and his two younger daughters - Isabel, 13, and 10-year-old Ella (walking beside dad) - were spotted outside their Los Angeles home on Thursday (June 17).

Warren and his wife, fellow actor Annette Bening, 52, are also parents to Kathlyn, 18, and Benjamin, 15. Kathlyn (pictured below with bike) is reportedly living as a man named 'Stephen' and is planning to have gender reassignment surgery.

A source reveals that Warren is "heartbroken" and "grief-stricken" over Kathlyn's decision.

Annette still remains very close to Kathlyn. And while Warren loves his daughter and will never turn his back on her. this experience is crushing him."

How devestating for Warren. Maybe he should talk to Cher for advice.

Seriously?! This is "crushing" him...what a selfish mentality. Doesn't he realize that this is NOT about him?! He's devastated because his daughter isn't what he wanted and expected her to be. What about what she is going through?

Let's remember, this is information from a "source". Warren Beatty hasn't come out and said anything, nor should he have to.

If this is really something their family is dealing with, they should be left alone to work their way through it in the best way for them.

I truly hope he will be a support for his daughter. It can't be an easy thing to accept, but the world is going to give her a hard enough time. You need to be able to count on your parents. Best of luck to all of them.

It's not selfish because it is also about him. Obviously he loves his daughter and anything she or any of the other kids do will also affect him. It's selfish to say that it's not about him. Anything anyone does does affect not only them but their loved ones.

His daughter wanting this is karma for him sleeping with and screwing over hundreds (allegedly) women in his past :)

Francesca said:

Wow, to say it's "karma" implies that somehow what is going on with his daughter is a bad thing. ?!?!? He (allegedly) did horrible things in the past, so now this "horrible" thing is happening with his daughter?! Wow!

I agree. Yes it's his karma. even if you may not see anything wrong with what his daughter is doing, he obviously does so anything that affects him negatively can possibly be his karma.

Francesca said:

Karma is the law of moral causation. So in effect, there is still the implication that because he did something morally wrong, it caused his daughter to do something morally wrong...jus' sayin'

Um...have any of you noticed Warren's face? What the heck happened to him? He barely looks like himself!

hey, genunine acceptance is often a PROCESS. if he does feel "crushed" then the best thing he can do is be honest about that and take some time to grieve Kathlyn (his first little girl) so that he can genuinely accept Stephen. This is not an interview with OK magazine this is his life and he feels the way he feels.

i think many might agree that much of his life has been indulged and selfish... so give the man time to grow up and deal.
