It looks as though things are progressing in the complicated battle between Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren.
According to a recent report, the 30-year-old mother-of-two will receive a record setting $750 million settlement in exchange for never publicly speaking out about her estranged husband’s indiscretions with up to twenty different women. A friend of the Swedish ex-model explains:
The price of the huge sum is her silence: no interviews, tell-all books, or TV appearances about this for the rest of her life -- even if Tiger dies first -- or she'll lose the lot… Tiger’s main fear is [Elin] telling her story after he’s rebuilt his reputation, sending him back to the gutter.
The report also states that Tiger, 34, has agreed to keep single woman away from his two children – Sam, 3, and Charlie, 1 – and can only bring a new woman into their lives if he marries her.
“She is desperate to protect the children from the womanizing side of their father,” continues the friend.
Despite their differences Elin does admit that “Tiger loves his kids and has been a decent dad”, but is also “confident he will not pursue seeing the children that much, due to his work and lifestyle”.
Under their recently signed agreement, Elin is to receive sole physical custody of their two children, while legal custody will be shared between the two.

I'm sure this poor woman would rather have her intact family back. With that said, you don't need $750M to live. She could still always sell every sordid detail to some publisher for $10M (which I'm sure they'd pay), then go on a worldwide tour and never let anyone forget what he did. He'd still have to provide child support.

What can she possibly tell us that we don't already know or can't imagine by ourselves. Boy, is Tiger Woods... stupid. Poor kids. At least their mother seems like a good person.
Staying silent isn't that big of a deal anyway, because she never did an interview or planned a tell all book anyway. She was very classy about it, if I must say so myself. She deserves every penny of that money.
He cheated on his wife...Infidelity is not worth $750 million. This is ridiculous.
Maybe not infidelity, but silence can be worth billions. Something tells me that it's not just the cheating he wants her to remain tight-lipped about. We all know he's a crap husband, but maybe she knows something that could torpedo his entire career.
Wow is he a dumbass! LOL! I mean, silence of what?? What about that Vanity Fair article with all those women talking about him? What else could we not know about him that it's worth 750mm?? We know he cheated, we know he was a jackass with her, a liar, etc, what else could be there?....are men involved in those infidelities too, or aliens or something? geez.
That's too much money for "silence" after ALL we already know about him.
Which is why I think that there's far more damaging dirt on him than his whoring around. That is some serious hush money for something the world already knows; something else is up.
And I'm still wondering why VF featured those women, as if they were war crimes victims making a difference for others. You know, women deserving of a spread in their magazine. It's as if VF was channeling Maxim.

This divorce settlement amount is well deserved since it may be for a complete package for both, Elin and the children and Tiger is demanding from Elin a lifetime of silence. It is very wise of Elin to demand that Tiger never expose their children to any future female companions ''unless he is married to said person.'' I commend Elin for being a caring and loving mother and for having her priorities right. Tiger is the one who caused irreparable damage to the marriage and the dissolution of the family unit with his adulterous, reckless and irresponsible behavior. Tiger, reportedly, had unprotected sex with multiple promiscuous partners, potentially exposing Elin to life threatening conditions such as STD, HIV, hepatitis, herpes, uterine cancer, etc. Some of these conditions can be dormant and could take years to show up. Tiger Woods humiliated his family in front of the world causing them enough hurt, pain and suffering that will scar them for the rest of their lives! Tiger Woods used his wife and children to earn millions projecting a false image of integrity as a devoted husband and family man, while living a sordid life in private. I applaud Elin for her courage, dignity and poise during this horrid ordeal and wish her and her precious children all the best for the future!!!

I'm with Peta on this. This is more than just "sorry, I put my penis into every woman who would let me", this is hush money and she has dirt on him. Serves him right.
It's amazing how he took a nobody and made her a somebody . He was a stupid baby KING KONG now if he had only listern to his dad. He would have his money and they could have been paying the $20million that was in the prenupe . Now she gets paid for haveing two kids and keeping silent well I for one is tired of hearing of him sleeping with a bunch of nobodies, all trying to be somebody. Elin knew she had a gold mine, so silence was the name of the game.
It's been reported that Tiger Woods is worth 1 billion ( so the media says). If Elin gets 700 million he is left with 300 million.....yeah when pigs fly. Why in the world would he give her all his money. PLZ

Selling your silence for any amount? I don't know about that. For me, it just confirms Tiger's need to control. Glad to see Elin moving on with her life and being a responsible parent. At least the kids get one decent parent (Elin).
