La Dolce Vita! Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Buy $40 Million Italian Villa

Looks like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have even more room for their six kids to play – the power couple just purchased a $40-million Italian villa in Italy. The new digs are located in Valpolicella, in the province of Verona, where “Romeo and Juliet” was set. How fitting!

And the Jolie Pitt kids – Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, Zahara, 5, Shiloh, 4, and 2-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – certainly won’t have to worry about sharing digs, since the mansion has 15-rooms.

Brad and Angie reportedly fell instantly in love with the house, that boasts a screening room, two pools, several Jacuzzis and a home gym. “Mr. Pitt and Ms. Jolie saw it for 10 minutes and they said yes,” said Alexander Proto, a consultant for the property.

“They were very determined. We are very pleased [to] have worked with them … no problems, very nice, very competent, ideal customers.”

I’m going to send over a housewarming gift right away. I wonder if they have a toaster?

Seems a little hypocritical to me to always be visiting third world countries and then dropping $40 million on a house. $40 mill could go sooooo far in those places.

Seriously? There are just some people that have to find the bad in everything. They give back to the world their own time in money, that doesn’t mean they can’t use the money they EARNED to buy things they want to buy and will enjoy. Whats wrong with you? Since when is it bad to enjoy your money?

It is their money and they can spend it anyway they want to…both of them make millions and if they want to buy a villa in Italy, so be it. They give enough to charities, which is more than other celebrities do. People are so judgemental these days..let me ask you a question: how much have you given to the needy or to a charity?

why don’t you give half of your salary to the third world? You should give away your house, car, clothes, etc. Afterall, you only need one pair of pants, one shirt, and a pair of shoes. Do you really need to live in a nice apt/house, a tent should suffice. so ridiculous..;.

completely agree with you….let’s face it, there are people who are rich and there are people who are poor and some in the middle. It’s always been what is known as “life”…If I could feed all the hungry people in the world, I would. The fact is, this is how the real world works. I find it ridiculous for people to judge what this couple spend their money on, which they obviously worked hard for. I would like to see the house of the person that commented that $40 mil. on a house is ridiculous…I betcha his or her house is full of unnecessary things that could have been spent on food for the hungry.
