Though he stops short of actually confirming the pregnancy rumors that are swirling around, Nick Cannon talks a lot about parenting in a new interview with People.
Saying he doesn't care if he and his wife Mariah Carey have a boy or girl, Nick adds, "It's great to have a girl until she turns into a teenager. Then you have to worry about every other boy in the neighborhood and that would freak me out. With a boy, I'd be worrying about him breaking his arms and his legs. I was that type of kid. I was a daredevil so I'd be having to worry about that."
The 29-year-old America's Got Talent host goes on to gush that Mariah will be "the best mom."
"She's very nurturing. She's nurturing with me and makes me breakfast at anytime and that's my favorite food. It would be like 3 o'clock in the morning and she will still make me waffles. She'll be the best mom."
As for his approach to fatherhood, Nick says, "I want to raise a child like the way I was brought up. Be someone who is stern but still fun loving and knows how to have a good time."
It's rumored that Mariah, 41, is already 4 months pregnant.

I'll agree with Nick on this one. Mariah has always loved children even helping to raise her older sister Allison's sons when they were small. though having your first child at 40-41 is dangerous and Mariah has had a scare before so it's even scarier if she is now.
I'll be damned if I can ever figure out what you're talking about or where you get your information.
Having a child at 40 or 41 isn't dangerous, you fool.
I wouldn't call other people "fool" without being a little informed...
Pregnancies are classified as high-risk pregnancies if the woman is over 40 years old or even if she is over 35 if it's her first pregnancy.
That doesn't necessarily mean that it's dangerous, but she is noch 100% wrong here.
What makes you presume I'm not "a little informed"?
I know all about "high-risk" pregnancies. Simply being over 40 does not make it inherently dangerous for someone to be pregnant.
I didn't say it always was but sometimes It can be as complications are more common and so are losses. and If you've already had a loss scare before obviously your going to be even more scared of it happening again.
He looks like her child. I really don't understand this couple.
What two people "look" like together to others does not matter. What matters is that the people in the relationship respect and love eachother and are happy. This seems to be the case here. So what is there not to understand?
You said it, not me. lol
It does matter when one spouse looks like the other's parent. The legal age of consent in some states is 14. Would you be confortable with a 50 yo married to a 14yo?
Nick cannon is 30 years old.. and mariah is 40.. he isn't exaclty a child anymore and a 10 year age gap isn't so bad... But he does look very young...
I love how people are outraged over the age difference but if she were male at 40 and had a 30 yr old spouse there would not be a peep from the peanut gallery; I guess you're sexists. That fine but try not o push your prejudices onto other people. One of my best friends is married to a man 10 years her junior and no one made a big deal about the age difference.
Yeah, he looks very young and she looks very old.
I think they'll make amazing parents! Who cares about their age difference, their both mature adults. What really matters in a relationship is that they both love and respect each no matter what, and that they are happy together.
