| Nov 4, 2010 by JENNY SCHAFER |

Set to light up the big screen in the much-anticipated flick Little Fockers, Jessica Alba opens up in the December edition of Elle about being a working mom, taking a break from Hollywood when she became pregnant with her now 2-year-old daughter Honor and her shy personality.
On being a working mom: “The time I’m not spending with my kid has to be worth it, so when I sat down with my agents after I was ready to go back to work, I told them: It’s all about the directors.”
On taking a break from Hollywood after she became pregnant: "I had been working straight since the age of 12. And it was just so clear that there was something more important out there."
On her personality: “I’m shy. I don’t like being the center of attention. But when I do comedy, I lose all inhibition and introspection. I no longer care.”
