Charlie Sheen & Denise Richards Had "Wonderful" Thanksgiving With Daughters

Charlie Sheen has been getting plenty of bad press after his infamous night out in October with a porn star in New York City, but he does have one person to be grateful for: his ex-wife Denise Richards, who invited him to celebrate Thanksgiving with their daughters Sam, 6, and Lola, 5.

"Charlie spent the afternoon eating turkey with Denise and their two daughters," a close friend of Sheen's reveals to Popeater. "It was a wonderful time for them all to be together and Denise's idea that they all sit down together as one happy family as if that awful night had never happened."

"It's clear the night in New York is far from over," the insider says, "but at least for one day that topic wasn't discussed over the Thanksgiving table. All Denise wanted was for her children to spend the holidays with their father. If she has to testify about what she was doing that night, she will, but for one day they all focused on what they had to be thankful for. Each other."

Charlie is also dad to 26-year-old daughter Cassandra with ex-girlfriend Paula Profit and 1-year-old twin boys Max and Bob with estranged wife Brooke Mueller.
