| Jan 3, 2011 by MARSHA TAKEDA-MORRISON |

Ryan Phillippe and ex-wife Reese Witherspoon were married for seven years and have two children together – Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7. So how does Ryan feel about Reese's recent engagement to CAA agent Jim Toth? The Crash actor gives his approval, with his kids in mind.
"I'm very happy for both Reese and Jim," Ryan tells the Daily News. "I wish nothing but the best for the mother of my children."
Earlier this year, Ryan said he and Reese were on good terms and had "gotten to a place where we're great friends and great co-parents."
Ryan, who is currently dating Amanda Seyfried, also said that Ava and Deacon had little interest in their parents' love lives. "If the kids care about mom dad, and if that's consistent and they feel protected that way, they don't they don't really care so much about who the parent is dating," he said. "They just don't."

Too bad they can't work it out. He is YUMMY and they make beautiful children! I love Reese, she's always been my favorite actress.
Just wait and see how happy Reese is going to be... It is so nice to see that
Ryan sends his best to his EX WIFE.. The mother of his children..Their child
custody would not change.. and that Reese and the kids go to church on Sundays and have a great life..
