Princess Mary Of Denmark Welcomes Twins!

Congratulations – times two! – to Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, who welcomed twins this morning.

The royal court announced that the “two fine children” – a boy and a girl – were born at the national Rigshospitalet hospital in Copenhagen and that “Both mother and children are doing well.”

The couple’s son arrived first, weighing 5lbs 14oz. His sister followed 26 minutes later, weighing 5lbs 10oz. The babies join older siblings Christian, 5, and Isabella, 3.

The proud papa told media outside the hospital, “It’s a miracle. It’s two small hearts to keep an eye on.”

Congratulations! Apparently they’re thinking of naming the boy Elvis because they were born on Elvis Presley’s birthday.
