Showing off her passion for fashion, 4-year-old Suri Cruise tried on a few pairs of high heels while out shopping with her mom Katie Holmes and friends at Holt Renfrew in Vancouver, Canada yesterday (January 9).
The pretty preschooler teetered around the shop in some sparkly peep-toes before setting her sights on a pair of black kitten heels.
In a recent interview the Mad Money star admitted she often takes her daughter's style advice, saying, “[Suri will] really tell me [what she thinks]. Like today I’m wearing brown suede pants, and she said, ‘I don’t like your pants.’ But then she’ll say, ‘You’ve got to wear these shoes.’ Or ‘That’s so pretty, Mom.'"
Katie and Suri are spending some time in Vancouver while dad Tom Cruise films Mission Impossible IV.

she's def. a girls girl!! Can't blame her I love clothes and shoes too! Who knows maybe Suri will grow up to be a fashion designer! I bet nobody criticized Vera Wang at 4 for her fashion sense!! lol
My girls love shopping for shoes to. I don't think I've ever seen Suri look more like a 'regular' child then here shopping with her mom. She's usually all dolled up
It's so cute how much she loves shows. I had one daughter like that, and one who would have been bored senseless in the shoe department.

Just noticed she is wearing a leotard with shorts underneath...suri you must get better w/ your fashion choices. This is a fashion faux pas if I ever saw one (unless your headed to toddler yoga or dance class)!! Keep working on it little one :)
I love the grey shoes (the picture where she's leaning on the mirror). Seriously, do they make them in adult sizes? I think that she looks cute on these pics, just like the regular 4-year-old should look. I feel kinda weird looking at pictures of someone's regular day, though...
sheis a cute kid BUT Doesnt anyone else thinks it is nasty that she is trying on shoes without socks on When I am in shoe stores I am given little footie stockings to try on shoes IT IS CALLED HYGIENE... Something this store must not be too concerned with LOL....I would not want to purchase shoes that had some kids dirty feet in them
.... Its a damn shame that she does not have socks on just due to the fact that it is winter and a leotard, bike shorts and mary janes is not appropiate clothes for the season.

I was thinking it must be cold in Vancouver but wasn't sure. Agree a coat isn't gonna cut it in the cold but it's nothing new. We know Suri makes her own decisions!

Does this child have any boundaries? Her mother letting her run amok and try on high dollar shoes is evidence of her lack of mothering skills. Shameful!
What I don’t get is that there in Canada were its cold as h*ll and she wearing biker shorts walking down the street. I've seen this happen lots of time at Macy's, Nordstrom and Lord and Taylor in the shoe department Mommy is to busy trying on shoes for herself not paying any attention to what their kid is doing while the child is trying on every shoe leavening them all over the floor knocking them over and making a mess. One time I was in line and this lady was so busy wearing about what shoe she going to buy she did not notes her daughter who look about 2 was about to eat the little salt packets that comes in the shoe boxes I had to ask the little girl nicely if I can have it and not once did her mother turn around to see what her child was doing until I told her what her kid was up to.
P.S. I don’t mine kids trying on adult shoes its cute my daughter dose it but she does it at home in my closet with my shoes because kids are going to be kids and make messes I don’t want my child making a mess in the store.
I totally agree. More attention should be paid by the parent in situations like this. I highly doubt Katie went around placing all the shoes back on the shelves. Also, very unlikely that Suri put them back. It is quite gross, dirty feet all over the shoes! As we know, Suri doesn't hear the word 'no' so she had a free for all at the shoe store. Very questionable parenting here!
Hello to all the idiots complaining about the shoes she's trying on, those are DISPLAY shoes! They are not the ones that are going to be tried on by the customer!
I don't care what anybody says, I love Suri. She is so cute and I think it's adorable how she loves clothes and shoes and such so much. :)
Why are they even bothering with shoes. 90% of the time they carry her. I've only see a couple of pictures where she is actually walking. and she's what, 4 years old ?????
On another note, can we say she will be the next Paris Hylton ? Talk about spoiled rotten.........................................
