Natalie Portman Reveals Her Pregnancy Fitness Routine

Things are going well for mom-to-be Natalie Portman. Now past her first trimester, the 29-year-old recently shared how her pregnancy is coming along.

The actress, who is expecting her first child this summer with fiance Benjamin Millepied, revealed her exercise fitness routine while backstage at the Golden Globes to USmagazine.com.

She said, "I have been swimming every day. When I am in my womb-like environment, I am hoping the baby is feeling peaceful."

Portman met Millepied on the set of Black Swan and has the director to thank for their meeting.

While at the Palm Springs International Film Festival she said, "I told [director] Darren Aronofsky, I was like, 'First you got me skinny, and now you're getting my fat,' because he introduced me to my fiance. It's the greatest gift he ever gave me."

As for names, the couple haven't discussed ideas yet.

She said, "I'm due this summer. I've definitely been thinking about it, but I haven't done the book or anything. Open to suggestions!"

Overall, Portman is having a smooth pregnancy.

I feel great. I'm through my first trimester. It's been really calm and good."

A friend of Natalie said:

"He's a self-promoter who's loving the spotlight. Her friends are worried she is in over her head.

I don't think he ever thought twice about leaving his girlfriend — which isn't a very good sign of character. He seems like a social climber who was all over Natalie the moment they met.

They're calling him the ballet version of K-Fed! Unfortunately, he is the father of her baby, and her pals think she wouldn't be getting married if she wasn't pregnant, and that it's all going too fast.

They're nervous that Natalie will wake up one day and wonder what happened."

You can't confront a friend about her relationship. Guess they are gonna have to wait it out!

Well, Natalie is a grown-up 29 years old woman, with a strong family background. Also, she has had her fair share of boyfriends in the past. Frankly, am sceptical of Benjamin Millepied being branded a 'self-promoter'. His last girlfriend was an unknown, so why start self-promoting activities at this stage???? He said himself that with Natalie, it was 'love at first sight' and he also admired her incredible acting skills. Sounds like he respects and adores her.

All I have to say is let them figure it out on their own. They are grown adults who can definitely take care of themselves. This is new to them so let them breath and be normal. Think about it this way. Natalie and Ben have enough money to support their new family regardless if they get married or not. They both now have an obligation to put first in their lives and keep it number 1. Their baby. Comparing to those in the United States that get pregnant who aren't financially stable suffer more emotional stress than celebrities. So, if they both believe in "love at first sight", I hope that they remember this moment to keep their relationship strong through ALL of the ups and downs a relationship will have especially when starting a family. Things will change and this baby will change them as a person for the better.

So, to comment on "Natalie is in over her head", I don't think so. If you were a friend you would be blunt and tell her how you really feel. And Ben being a "self-promoter", if you think so set him aside, talk with him and help him realize what his main priorities are, family or the spot light? You can certainly have both and succeed ONLY if, you put your most important priorities first, family.

Overall, in this life we live, regardless of whether you are a celebrity or not, you find your true friends through life changes. Those who are there and stick it out and can just "be there" to listen and give GOOD advice are true friends. Those who leave you behind and move on with their own lives because the felt you didn't "take their advice" were merely just an acquaintance.

Natalie and Ben, live your lives to the fullest. You now have a baby on the way and you both need each other for both moral and emotional support. Love each other fully and never let anyone holding grudges or negative feeling and emotions change you for the worst. You are both wonderful people who need to focus on you and the baby. Be yourself to each other and be truthful and share your feelings with each other always. A truthful relationship is stronger and long lasting than a superficial relationship that focuses on image. Don't let the media change who you are just because you are falling in love. All you can do is do the right thing in your heart. Be private about your family so you can feel normal in your own home. Enjoy the laughs, the cries and the love from each other as this is a road to true love.
