Amy Poehler & Her Toy Shopping Tot

Amy Poehler took her 2-year-old son Archie to Tom’s Toys in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Tuesday (January 25).

Archie held onto two balls in the store, which his mom eventually bought for him.

The third season of Poehler’s show, Parks and Recreation, is now back on NBC after a long hiatus.

Happy to be back on the air she recently said, “It was an NBC decision and certainly we were confused. But I think, weirdly, there’s a momentum that comes from people waiting for us, which is nice.”

Bit disappointed that Amy could not make it to the store without the nanny…oh well maybe it was a stressful day. I’m not here to judge! Archie is so sweet!

“I’m not here to judge!” Of course you are or you wouldn’t have written the first sentence of your post in the first place. What business is it of yours, anyway? Like you wouldn’t have a nanny help you out if you had tons of money.

What is with this anti-nanny vibe on this site? O_O

This site is filled with busybodies who think everything is their business, and who think they know everything about a person just from seeing a few still photographs. Of course, it doesn’t matter what celebs do, the harpies here will criticize them. If they take their kids out by themselves, they get criticized for staging photo ops and pretending to be “super-moms”. If they have a nanny, they get criticized for being incapable of taking care of their own children.

I only wish I had the money to hire a full-time nanny, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. All the people here would hire them too if they could actually afford it, but they can’t, so they just make themselves feel better by tearing other people down.

The gospel according to Anonymous(1:41)…. Maybe you should read the posts you are referring to before launching into a tirade. Granted, there have been some posts that seem to denigrate those who use nannies, but I think it’s a bit extreme to say they were “tearing” them down. Geez!! In fact, a lot of us have posted comments that make a distinction between those who use them when they are working vs. those who can’t seem to handle their kids without them.
For the record, I would absolutely love to have a nanny at my disposal so I could have a break now and then.

Its not the nanny that I object to, but it does look strange that she is holding Archie while his mum carries the bags.
