Michelle Williams Wants Matilda's World "Secure As Possible"

Michelle Williams says raising her 5-year-old daughter Matilda is her priority.

The actress tells OK! magazine, "Raising my daughter is my absolute priority and everything I do is to make Matilda's world as happy and secure as possible. Even when I'm working I still think about her and can't wait to get back to her at the end of the day. I hope one day she will see my movies and be proud of me."

Williams also admitted making the film Blue Valentine helped her enjoy acting again.

Referring to the death of Matida's father Heath Ledger, she said, "You experience this terrible sense of loss and it was very hard to find some meaning to all of it. It was very hard for me to think about work anymore because I found myself cut off from the outside world.

"Making Blue Valentine restored my desire and enjoyment in acting again, that was the first time I felt like myself again. It helped me feel good again in a way that I hadn't felt like in several years. It rekindled my spirit in many ways."

Precious mom. The "Raising more than just another pretty face..." tee would be great for her. We would like to send her one.

A good mom but a really bad dresser. That dress is beyond comment.

I'm sure Matilda will be very proud of her ... she is a wonderful mother/person!

I like Michelle....but personally I have a father who professionally is very impressive. He has theprestigious type of job that makes others think he must be a psecial person....but I have nevber once in my life been "proud" of him for his work, even when he has been doing things akin to making hit movies. It was just his job. I have always been incredibly proud of him for being kind, funny, interesting, and able to laugh at himself. just saying I don't think its the movies that will make Matilda proud of her mother, its the type of person she is.
