David Arquette Explains Rehab To Coco

Actor David Arquette paid a visit to the Oprah Winfrey Show this week, where he opened up about his split from wife Courteney Cox and his recent stint in rehab.

After checking into rehab for alcohol addiction and depression in early January, the Scream star had to explain his absence to his 6-year-old daughter Coco.

“I told her at first I had to go away to a camp, so maybe that part wasn’t honest, but it kind of was," he told Oprah, before adding that he had to reveal the truth when she came to visit him at the facility.

“(I said) ‘I’m here to learn how to be a better person, but I’m also here so that I don’t drink anymore, because I’ve been drinking a lot’.”

As for his relationship with Courteney, David said that there is "always the possibility" of a reunion.

"We're still working on ourselves," he shared. "I want her to be happy. ... I'd love for it to work out."
