Britney Spears’ Back Up Plan: “I’d Be A Full-Time Mom”

With her new album Femme Fatale being released later this month, Britney Spears is keeping her priorities straight as a devoted mom to Jayden James, 4, and Sean Preston, 5.

In the latest issue of V magazine, she says that her boys make her happy and reveals a talent that might surprise people.

She reveals, “I love to cook, especially for my boys. I also make a mean southern sweet tea from a recipe my mom passed on to me. It’s really good. I love it. I make it for my boys all the time.”

Having been in the spotlight for so many years she admits she’s a little more guarded now.

Spears says, “I think it’s easier to let people in when you’re younger, but when I became a mother I wanted more privacy for myself and my children. A life away from my life.”

As for what would happen if she gave her pop star life up, Britney doesn’t hold back.

I’d be a full-time mom which would be cool. I’d miss my fans and all of the love the most, but I definitely would not miss having my picture taken everywhere I go. I wouldn’t miss showering in arenas either. So gross!”

I’m glad Britney is back on the right track. I’ll admit I was a Britney hater….I like her music, still find her to be a little annoying, but all in all I am glad she’s doing well.

She looks pretty in those pictures though in regular pictures she looks so much older than her age. I also don’t think like she looks like she has any interest in her career and seems to have little involvement in her work. The list of songwriters was published by the record company and Britney is not listed as a writer nor a producer. She basically shows up to “sing” and everyone else works their magic. Her kids are really cute though. I wish she would take time off and just live her life for a while.

This is so laughable. Yeah sure she can cook, her specialty dish being sweet iced tea which she serves to her children ages 4 and 5. Sounds like mother of the year to me, I know how tricky and exhausting that water boiling and sugar melting and stirring can be, not to mention opening up a teabag. I’d give anything to see a cooking show featuring her cooking these wholesome family meals.

How could she be a full-time mom when her boys are with their father half of the time?
