Russell Brand's Fatherhood Fear

Russell Brand's Fatherhood Fear

Funnyman Russell Brand can't wait to start a family with his wife, pop-star Katy Perry, telling OK! that he's "very much looking forward to becoming a dad," and soon. But some may suggest that the British actor make a few minor adjustments to his unorthodox way with kids before having any of his own.

"I go nuts with children," Brand tells the magazine. "When I'm around my mates' children, I jazz the kids up, I swear at them, I get them all worked up, I say crazy stuff to them. I fill their heads with nonsense and then leave them."

Though Russell and Katy have both been very public about their desire to have children, one thing the Hop star hasn't been so forthcoming about - at least to his wife anyway - is his plan to raise those children in Britain.

"I secretly want to do that," says Brand, explaining that while he's eager to become a father, there is one thing that scares him:

"I have a fear of hearing my American children speak to me in American accents."

This guy is utterly disgusting. I cannot believe Americans have fallen for his crap. He was fired from MTV uk the day after sept 11, because he dressed up as Osama Bin Laden. He made actual threats on tv against the Pope and President Bush ( I am not a fan of Bush but still it's uncalled for). He used to have a segment on MTV uk that was the top ten reasons Americans are idiots. He hated everything about America, but now makes his living off of them.

Not to mention he is incredibly greasy looking. I fear for his children too!

Is it me, or is his head/face way too big for his scrawny body?

Totally agree. I lived in London during that time you mention and he was so vile towards Americans making jokes about people jumping out of buildings etc. He constantly made blanket statements calling ALL Americans ignorant and uneducated idiots. But now he has no problem making a living off of them.
And he is incredibly unattractive. I feel sorry for any kids he has.

It's a shame though because the majority of the British people I befriended were polar opposites of this fool- he gives them a bad rep.

Most of us did not like him either.

That's funny, that was my reason for leaving England at 7 months pregnant. Could not bear having a child with a BRITISH accent.

Seriously he is vile, he makes my skin crawl.
