Emily Mortimer's Day Out With Her Son

Actress Emily Mortimer took a break from the Vancouver, Canada set of her new film A Single Shot to spend the day with her 7-year-old son Sam (April 21). The sweet pair went to see a movie and then stopped off for a pizza lunch.

The British-born star recently admitted that she's one of "those moms" who can't help but gush about her brilliant kids.

I bore people with how brilliant the children are. Because it doesn't seem like they are connected to you at all. It's like a stork brought them," she says. "You realize this the minute they come out. This person is already who they are and they are already brilliant and I've had no impact on it whatsoever."

Emily and her husband Alessandro Nivola are also parents to 1-year-old daughter May Rose.
