(UPDATE: Ian Ziering has confirmed the news on the birth of his baby girl Mia Loren. People reports she was born at 10:09 p.m. on Monday (April 25) and weighed in at 7 lbs., 6 oz. A source tells the mag that "M" is in honor of Ian's late mother Micki.

Ian wrote on his Facebook page: ""Well, it's official, I'm a dad! As I sit holding Mia, Erin sleeps the most beautiful sleep. My thoughts race with visions of a brighter future, only made possible by what happens today... or, last night! God bless us all.")

TooFab reports that Ian Ziering and his wife Erin Ludwig have welcomed a baby girl on Monday night (April 25).

Another source claims the couple have named their first child Mia and that she was born at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

The former Beverly Hills 90210 star has expressed his excitement on becoming a dad on his Twitter account.

OMG life is about to change. Going baby shopping for the first time! Strollers, crib, yikes!"
