Matthew Vaughn Denies Reports He's The Father Of January Jones' Baby

Is he, or isn't he?

Lawyers for X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn, who's also hubby to supermodel Claudia Schiffer, tell the New York Post's Page 6 that stories suggesting their client had an affair with actress January Jones and could potentially be the father of her unborn child are nothing but an "absolute lie."

An earlier report from E! claimed that Jones had a "very close relationship" with Vaughn on the set of the X-Men prequel, in which she co-stars.

Though the 33-year-old Mad Men actress confirmed her pregnancy in late April, she has remained mum on the identity of the baby's father, with some speculating that it could be January's former beau, Saturday Night Live's Jason Sudeikis.

This will be the first child for Jones.

Vaughn and Schiffer have three children together - Caspar, 8, Clementine, 6, and Cosima, who recently turned 1.
