Josh Duhamel & Fergie: Prepping For Baby?

Josh Duhamel and Fergie have been married for two years and together for seven. That’s an eternity in Hollywood, so of course the pregnancy speculation is coming fast and furious now – are the couple making plans for a little one soon? “If you’re together with somebody, they expect a baby,” Josh told E! News. “You know, it will happen when it’s right, and we’re excited about the prospect.”

Well, at least the house will be babyproofed when the baby does arrive. The Transformers star credits his twin nieces for making sure of that. “They’re two and they are at the perfect age,” he said. “They’re just hilarious. But you also have to learn what’s good about your house for kids and what isn’t. They don’t always mesh, and kids will find the most dangerous places.”

Let’s hope Josh’s baby-prepping plans don’t interfere with the project that’s got All My Children fans buzzing – the actor got his start on the cancelled ABC soap and will return to make a cameo before its final episode airs in September.

According to E! News, “Duhamel will reprise his role of Leo du Pres, a con artist who was assumed dead after a 2003 waterfall accident—but his body was never found…”

“You know, it will happen when it’s right, and we’re excited about the prospect.” – sounds like maybe they’re having trouble conceiving. I hope people don’t hound them about when they’re going to have a baby.

Josh needs to concentrate on not cheating on his wife. When he masters that–then he could consider having a child. That guy is a total loser!

Right on, Billy. He should be worshipping the ground Fergie walks on (I’m not a fan of hers by the way, so no bias) because there would be much less interest in him without her — i.e. no career. As it is, he is just a pretty face and a pretty empty vapid personality. Maybe Fergie needs to move on.

Ever since they married (and even before) they have been talking about having babies. Especially Josh.
Why don’t keep that private and surprise the world when there is an actual pregnancy? Is nothing private anymore?
My boyfriend and I are trying to conceive, but we do not tell our family. Our mothers would ring every single day to ask whether I’m pregnant yet.
Fergie is on constant ‘bumpwatch’ by all the magazines, that must be really frustrating. Not for the least if they have trouble conceiving and you read in a magazine you are supposed to be pregnant every other week.

There’s way too much discussion of this couple that have no children and are not expecting. Can we just let couples live and when they announce a pregnancy go with that instead of speculation and “hope?”
