Kelsey Grammer: My Family Won’t Be On Reality TV

From Cheers to Frasier, actor Kelsey Grammer has had a lot of success on the small screen – but he says he won’t be making the move to reality TV.

“I made a conscious decision that I wouldn’t play out my personal life in front of the cameras,” Kelsey, who wed Kayte Walsh earlier this year, tells Life & Style. “That’s just respectful for the situation and respectful to Kayte, as well.”

Kelsey’s ex-wife Camille Donatacci, meanwhile, stars on the Bravo hit Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, where she often airs her differences with her former husband. The pair, who divorced in February, have become embroiled in a battle over the custody of their kids Mason, 9, and Jude, 6.

“It’s going to be a long, drawn-out thing,” the actor says. “We’ll be tortured and it will be unpleasant I’m sure, but not on my side.”

Is there any hope that Kelsey and Camille can find a way to get along? “I really can’t tell. It’s very hard at this point,” he admits. “I’m not going to say much about that, but I’m going to do my best to make sure my kids are always okay.”

Well I’m glad he’s respecting SOMEONE bc he sure didn’t respect his ex wife.

as if this man has any respect for his family or his new wife. i have NO RESPECT for a man who leaves his family for a new, younger version of his current wife. i understand falling out of love. i understand things not working out. but i don’t understand cheating and leaving your family. oh well – not my life, not my problem. i feel bad for those poor children tho =(

Interesting — he really pushed Camille to do the reality series while he went off to Broadway.. after they split it was clear he wanted to keep her in LA while he was free to cheat in NY.

this chump had TMZ film his wedding he had them follow him to get an engagement ring. His publicist has TMZ always “meeting up with him by chance”. He played his daily life out to reality but unfortunately wasn’t smart enough to get paid for it. My bud works at TMZ says his publicist calls and emails all the time about were to “spot you”. They all think it’s time for you to give it a rest As an outsider I agree 100% They all think he’s a jerk.
