Kate Hudson Wants To Let Her Kids Make Mistakes

With the addition of baby Bing last month, life has gotten even busier for actress Kate Hudson... but it sounds like she's up to the challenge!

Though the carefree mom-of-two, who is engaged to Bingham's dad Matt Bellamy, admits that juggling kids and career is “definitely getting harder," she tells Elle magazine, "But, you know, life moves on. I would never want to be someone who complains and goes, ‘Oh my God, my life is so crazy.' If you make the best of it, it can be amazing.”

Kate, who also has 7-year-old son Ryder, seems confident in motherhood, but when she does need some parenting advice she goes straight to her own mom Goldie Hawn.

“We've definitely had lots of talks about parenting and being a working mom,” says Kate. “She never hands out unsolicited preachy words of wisdom, though. My parents allowed my brother and I to have our freedom and be ourselves and feel confident in our choices and to make mistakes without too much judgment. I hope that I can do as good a job.”

The Oscar-nominee may be busy with her new baby, but she's got a few other projects on the go as well, including a Linda Lovelace biopic and a new jewelry collection called CH+KH.
