Melanie Brown & Daughters Arrive In Australia
| Sep 16, 2011 by MARSHA TAKEDA-MORRISON |

No jet lag here!
Despite the long flight from Los Angeles to Sydney, Australia, Melanie Brown was in a good mood as she touched down at Sydney International Airport on Thursday (September 15) with her 4-year-old daughter Angel and her newborn daughter, who is reportedly named Madison. The jet-setting mom got help with the baby carrier from a flight attendant.
The former Spice Girl recently talked about staying true to herself while still being a wife and mother. "I've always said that kids should enhance your life, not hinder your life," she said. "So I just try to make the most out of being with my kids. You have to have a life for yourself somewhere in the mix of being a wife and mum."
Melanie is also mom to 12-year-old daughter Phoenix with husband Stephen Belafonte and stepmom to Stephen's 6-year-old daughter Giselle.

Why would you take a new born on a flight to Australia from the USA? I can't find any valid reason.
How about, she needed to go there, and a newborn needs to stay with its mother?
And that concludes today's edition to simple answers to stupid questions.
Work. And babies are portable.
@ Anna
She is a judge / mentor on X-Factor Australia. She began filming in May / June and the live shows start on Monday so she has to be here for them. As the baby is a newborn, she is most probably nursing, so the baby has to be with her. SHe will be here in Australia until around November.
Her oldest daughter probably couldn't go due to school. That's a long time to be away from Phoenix, unless Phoenix and her stepdad go visit them for a short time.
That baby is 2 weeks old and she took it on a long haul flight to Australia? Hmm... Each to their own, but I know it's something I definitely wouldn't do... Its not like she needs money like the rest of us...
Leaving your 12 year old behind and taking a 2 week old baby on a flight like that?
This post isn't about you. No one cares what you would or wouldn't do.
