Michelle Williams' Puppy Problem

With her 6th birthday tomorrow, it sounds like Matilda Ledger got her gift a bit early this year.

Matilda's mom Michelle Williams revealed that the pair recently brought home a new puppy, telling Ellen DeGeneres that the new addition is a mixed "sort of Spaniel thing."

"She's very into the puppy," the My Week with Marilyn star explained, adding that the first thing on Matilda's to-do list was to pick the perfect name.

"Her first ideas were...they sounded like stripper names! She wanted something like, Crystal, Gem or Diamond," Michelle, 31, laughed. "I was like, 'We can't have a dog named [that!]."

But she says she managed to squash her "controlling mom" instinct and in the end decided, "You know what? Let her have it."

Fortunately for Michelle, Matilda settled on a name they both could love: Lucky!
