Kate Winslet’s NYC Stroll With Kids – & New Beau

Academy Award-winning actress Kate Winslet went for a morning stroll with her two kids – daughter Mia, 11, and son Joe, 7 – and her new beau in New York City on Thursday (November 3).

The Titanic actress, 36, who rescued Richard Branson’s mother from a house fire in August, took a brisk walk with her boyfriend ‘Ned Rocknroll‘ (Branson’s nephew) and enjoyed watching her son’s skateboard skills.

Mia’s father is Kate’s ex-husband Jim Threapleton, while Joe’s dad is Kate’s ex-husband Sam Mendes.

NOT a good idea to introduce your se buddy to your kids until it is serious.

    • Iris

Agreed, although we don’t know how serious this is. But Kate has a history of many, many BF. Love her kids, they grow up so fast! Esp. Joe, he’s bigger then Mia I guess.
Ned and Kate look a bit alike with the sunglasses, same mouth/nose…Kate and Jim looked a bit alike as well.

You’re right! Her children should be removed from her custody as she obviously doesn’t care about them and their well-being. She should be ashamed of herself and be flogged. I’m disgusted by her behavior and hope that she consider what the public thinks of her since we pay her salary.

How do you know it isn’t serious? Do you know them personally?

  • AM

Well when her kids can google her moms name and see her current boyfriend, it’s much better to go ahead an introduce them to him. Her kids are adorable.

i always thought that actresses like her and reese were strong women, but apparently not!they need to be parading around with a man at all times despite the well being of their kids…

    • Janna

      Parading around? Oh my.

Wanting love, sex, and companionship has nothing to do with whether or not you are a strong woman. What a ridiculous idea. And what on earth does any of that have to do with the well-being of their children? You think it’s best for kids if their parents stay lonely and unhappy for the rest of their lives?

Kate and Ned are friends of some family friends of mine, and from what I’ve heard they are very serious and very much in love. The kids love him and he loves them as well, which is good! 🙂 And Kate obviously adores her children more than anything.

@Anonymous, are you serious? YOU should be ashamed of yourself, for being so hateful towards someone you don’t know. I’m always amazed at how people speak as if they’ve known these actors/actresses personally for years. You don’t know her and you don’t know what she does in her personal life. You see a few candid pictures of her every now and then. That’s not an accurate depiction of a life. You’re also *very* narrow minded to think that mothers who date are automatically bad mothers and don’t take care of their kids. Open your eyes and open your ears to the world. Get out of the bubble you’re in. I’m also amazed at how people act as though she has to live by YOUR standards. What kind of ridiculousness is that? What sense is in criticizing someone because they don’t live their life up to your own standards? You don’t know her and she doesn’t know you. Why should she live based on what random members of the public think? She’s living her own life and you should do the same. You sound like a very bitter, negative person to be filled with *that* much hatred for someone you don’t know. People like you who insist they know what’s best tell me nothing about the person you’re criticizing, it tells me a lot about the type of person you are.
