Charlie Sheen and his ex-wife Denise Richards came together to watch their 7-year-old daughter Sam play in her soccer game in Calabasas, Calif. on Saturday (November 19).
Their other daughter Lola, 6, also sat with them. Denise's adopted baby daughter Eloise wasn't with them. Eventually Sam took a break and went over to join the family to eat snacks.
The former It's Complicated reality star recently talked to Chelsea Lately about letting her girls spend time with their dad.
She said, “I can’t change him. I’ve said this before, when he’s off doing his thing, he doesn’t see the girls and when he’s straight and good, we spend time together.”
She also revealed that she's been teaching her daughters about addiction so they could understand their father’s behavior better.
I got a book to read to them. I was just lying to them about so much, and covering up things and totally lying. It was just getting too confusing that I had to sit down with them. It's too early for them to understand. I told them enough for them to make sense of things that were going on."

You cannot tell how happy or sad a person is from a still picture. For all you know they smiled right after the photo was taken. The photos you see are are infinitesmal fraction of their lives. If you think you can tell anything from seeing the few photos you see, you are delusional.
Yes you sure can tell! I agree with Ava Elizabeth ther are never any pictures of these girls looking happy. Maybe because they sense the contoversy and drama that the parents have made of their lives..the adults need to act like adults for the kids sakes.
They don't seem to care about him, they are stuck to their mother. Sad :(
Ava watch the pictures, in one of them Sam finally smiles !! I love Charlie Sheen but his daughters should smile sometimes, anyway Denise and him support them, take care of them so it is good.
How do you know they never smile --- not everyone is a ham for the camera and maybe these girls don't want to be show ponies for the paps. Good for them.

Most likely there is a GOOD reason...
Who says it's all he gets? Just because you don't see pictures of it, you think it doesn't happen? And in any case, you think it would be a good idea for him to see them when he's doing his suitcases full of coke and hanging out with porn stars? Child support isn't a ticket to see your children, it's for what it says - to support and take care of them. A person's responsibilities to support their children don't end just because their lifestyle is unsafe for the children to be around.

I've seen plenty of photos of this little girl at the soccer field but does she actually play soccer? I've never seen a photo of her anywhere near the ball, always just standing around idle or on the sidelines frowning and looking bored.
So you think because you don't see pictures, it doesn't happen? There are pretty obvious answers to your question other than "they never play." Most likely, the paps get there at the start, take the pictures they need, and leave. They're not going to stick around for an hour just to get an action shot when they could be finding other celebs to photograph. An extra pic of the kid playing soccer isn't going to make them more money. Pictures of a different celeb will.
you guys are judgemental idiots....child support does not make a person a father. the best thing charlie can do is straighten himself up. Denise seems like a great mom and her kids smile plenty.
