Matt Damon: My Heart Grew Five Times When I Became A Dad

Matt Damon is 'The Sexiest Family Man Alive,' but not just by our account.

In the latest issue of PARADE, on newsstands this Sunday (December 11), the actor talks about his low-key life with wife Luciana Barroso and daughters Alexia, 13, Isabella, 5, Gia, 3, and Stella, 1, how they manage to stay out of the spotlight, and why his heart is full "all the time" now that he's a dad.

The We Bought a Zoo star may enjoy a life free of the paparazzi, but some of his famous friends - like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie - aren't as fortunate in that respect.

"Brad and Angie, there's much more pressure on them than there is on me," Damon explains. "He [Pitt] asked me what my everyday is like. I said, 'Well, I grab the kids from school, and then we go over to the park.' And he was just looking at me, like, 'How can you do that?' Because he can't.

I've been left alone, even by the paparazzi, because what sells is sex and scandal. Absent that, they really don't have much interest in you," says Matt. "I'm still married, still working, still happy."

Damon says he "jumped into the deep end" with Lucia, who was already mom to a then 4-year-old Alexia when they began dating, describing himself as an "extra dad." But now, the only thing extra is the amount of love he feels for his family.

"The only way I can describe it -- it sounds stupid -- at the end of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, you know how his heart grows, like, five times its size? Everything is full; it's just full all the time."
