It's been another year of interesting baby names out of Hollywood!
From new names like Amaya, Arabella and Xander, to some tried-and-true favorites like Harper, Delilah and Bennett, to some questionable monikers such as Bingham, Press and Bear, Hollywood parents did not disappoint.

I think Kevin Federline's daughters name Jordan is too muck like his son's name Jayden.

Totally agree. I love Alicia but not her choice in name.
Honestly all I can think of when I hear this name is the t.v. show "Bear in the Big Blue House"
Natalie Portman's sons name, "Aleph" is the worst. Is that a Jewish name? I know she was born in Israel.
And I was surprised that Pink named her daughter such a feminine girls name...."Willow". I expected something more gender neutral.
"Aleph" is "A" in hebrew. I think it's one of the cutest of 2011. Much better than Bear.
Best girl names: locklyn, Eloise, Delilah, Amaya and Faith
Best boy names: Hudson, Arthur, Leo and Declan
Worst names: Bear, Bingham, Boone, and Press
Locklyn? Really? Everyone has their own opinion but Locklyn is what you call the Loch Ness Monster.
Not to mention, it's a misspelled boy's name. TACKY.

Aleph is the worst, hands down. Bear Blu is bad too, but Aleph? That poor kid will be called Alf all the time. And the last name is bad too, sounds like millipede, after the insect. Alf Millipede, oh man.
For the girls, I like Agnes Lark, Willow Sage, Sadie Grace....boys I like Arthur Saint, Theodore Hayes, Flynn Christopher. Also Mirabella and Eloise are cute for girls, just not into the middle names.
Just a heads up, Millepied is actually pronounced Mill-pee-ay (French pronunciation) so doesn't really sound anything like millipede. Also, I wonder if you and most other people are pronouncing Aleph wrong? Maybe no-one other than me likes it, but it's AY-leff not AL-eff. I dunno, I just think it's a gorgeous name and I am puzzled by every other poster saying what a horrible name it is. To each their own though! :)
Nope. It is AL-eff. It's the hebrew word for "A". It's not English, so it isn't "AY". I love the name too, though.
Hmmm. I know a boy with this name but he pronounces it AY-leff. But then I just listened to an online audio pronunciation and it was AH-leff, which is maybe what you meant by AL-eff, but I said the AL like pal and it didn't sound so great. AH-leff is really nice I think, it reminds me of Arlo which is another fantastic name.

Love the name Amaya. I'm definitely going to name my daughter that name when i have one i'm only 19 now. That's the only name i love. I also love Amaya's mom Mariska Hargitay!!!
