Marcia Cross & Family: Park N' Ride

Marcia Cross had a relaxing day with husband Tom Mahoney and twin daughters Eden and Savannah, 4, on Thursday (December 29).

The family picnicked in a Santa Monica, Calif. park and then rode bicycles – at one point Marcia took a spin on one of the girls' bikes. I tried that once, but I ended up turning my daughter's little Schwinn into a unicycle.

The upcoming season of Desperate Housewives will be its last, but Marcia says that while she'll miss playing Bree Van de Kamp on the show, she's looking forward to living life with a quieter pace and spending more time with her family.

"During the show I got married, I had twins and I took care of my husband at one point when he was sick. I went from thinking I was giving up my acting career to working on a hugely successful show," she says.

"I've been working so hard for the past eight years and I'm tired – but I'm also deliciously tired because what a wonderful life I've lived," the actress continued. "I'm looking forward to having a rest and being able to give to those I haven't been able to see."
