Adorable Zachary stole the show while out for lunch with his parents Elton John and David Furnish and friends in Honolulu, Hawaii over the weekend (January 7). Ready for the beach in a striped T and a sun hat, the one-year-old flashed a sweet smile as he sat on his superstar dad’s knee.
It’s a working holiday in the Aloha state for the 64-year-old ‘Circle of Life’ singer, who has been busy playing shows with his band at Honolulu’s Blaisdell Arena .
Elton announced today that he is penning a personal memoir about the HIV/AIDS epidemic, saying in a statement, “This is a disease that must be cured not by a miraculous vaccine, but by changing hearts and minds, and through a collective effort to break down social barriers and to build bridges of compassion. Why are we not doing more? This is a question I have thought deeply about, and wish to answer – and to help change – by writing this book.”
All proceeds from the sale of LOVE IS THE CURE: Ending the Global AIDS Epidemic will go to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
